Support

Write to support@lilttunes.com about anything: a problem, a lost tune, or an idea. There is no support desk and no ticketing system – your mail reaches the person who makes Lilt. Say which device and app version you use, and what you expected to happen.

Sync and sign-in: short answers

Does Lilt work without the internet?

Yes, apart from two things. Your library, the notation, and playback are all on the device. Only importing from TheSession and syncing to Google Drive need a connection.

What does sync store, and where?

A copy of your library in a hidden folder in your own Google Drive, which only Lilt can read. The privacy policy lists exactly what the file holds. Nobody else gets a copy: not the publisher, and not any other service.

What do I need to sign in?

A Google account on the device, and Google Play services installed and up to date. Sign-in is unavailable without it, and the app says so. Google's own consent screen asks for one permission only: access to Lilt's hidden folder in your Drive. Lilt cannot see the rest of your Drive, and never asks to.

Sign-in failed. What should I try?

Check that you are online, that the Google account is still on the device, and that Play services is up to date. If access was withdrawn in your Google account settings, sign in again from the Sync screen. If it still fails, write in with the exact message the app shows.

How do I stop syncing, or delete the synced copy?

The Sync screen offers both. ‘Unlink this device’ makes the device forget the account and leaves your library alone. ‘Remove synced data and unlink’ does the same and also deletes the sync file and its previous copy from your Drive. Uninstalling the app removes the library from the device but leaves the Drive copy behind, so remove it first if you want it gone.
